All travel and or convenience fees can be negotiated, but we must have an agreement in place prior to any appointment. If our appointment is cancelled within 2 hours or less of our confirmed appointment time there will be a cancellation fee applied in the amount of $15.00 (If no travel has happened)  When I have traveled to your desired location a cancellation fee of $35.00 will apply.  Please keep this in mind when you are scheduling services with me.

Time is money and I value your time as much as mine, this is why I have chosen to adapt cancellation fees.

The Most Common Notarizations are Acknowledgments and Jurats

In Texas, an acknowledgment is a formal declaration before a notary public that the signer of a document is who they claim to be and signed the document voluntarily. The fee for performing an acknowledgment is set by state law.

A Texas Jurat is a specific type of notarization used in the state of Texas that involves a sworn statement. During a Texas Jurat, the signer must personally appear before a notary public and swear or affirm the truthfulness of the contents in the document. The signer signs the document in the presence of the notary, who then completes the jurat by adding a certificate stating that the oath or affirmation was administered. This process verifies that the statements in the document were made under oath and are truthful to the best knowledge of the signer.

Texas law sets the maximum fees that notaries may charge for their services.  These fees are in addition to any travel and or convenience fees for services rendered over and beyond the statutory fees.
